Brown’s Electrical Contractors, LLC is a family-owned and operated business led by Nathan Brown, a licensed Master Electrician with a broad and diverse electrical background. Nathan began his electrical career in 2013 with a large industrial company, where he completed most of his apprenticeship working in steel and lumber mills. During this time, he developed extensive hands-on experience with PLC systems, motor controls, and 480V electrical systems, while also gaining valuable exposure to industrial mechanical work and welding.
After completing his apprenticeship, Nathan transitioned to a local electrical company, expanding his skillset into commercial and residential electrical work. After earning his journeyman license, he returned to the industrial sector, where he managed projects ranging from small control jobs to large-scale high-voltage installations, often integrating mechanical and welding scopes. He dedicated significant time to studying the National Electrical Code, successfully passing his journeyman licensing exam and continuing to advance his technical expertise.
Nathan’s experience led him to serve as contracted electrical maintenance support for major industrial clients, including United States Steel and Nucor Steel. During this period, he completed extensive training in safety, emergency response, CPR, Arc flash rated hot work and was qualified to work on energized high-voltage electrical systems. Nathan later held the Master Electrical license for an industrial fabrication and electrical company for a short period before branching out on his own to establish Brown’s Electrical Contractors, LLC.
In 2022, Nathan founded Brown’s Electrical Contractors, LLC with a clear mission: to provide high-quality electrical services that meet—and exceed—the expectations of every customer. Alongside his wife, Christina, Nathan operates the company with a balance of corporate-level professionalism and small-town, customer-focused service. As the company continues to grow, Brown’s Electrical Contractors remains committed to craftsmanship, safety, and integrity, delivering dependable service on every project and with every new team member.
